When I have extra time, I like to make my own dressing. This way I can avoid all the extra preservatives that are typically in store bought dressings. This recipe will make about 2 cups of dressing. You can store it in the fridge in a glass jar with a tight fitting lid for several weeks, but it’s so delicious, I’m sure it won’t last that long.
¼ cup Wildtree Natural Grapeseed oil or extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
½ cup tahini
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup water
5 small green onions (white and green parts)
2 tablespoons fresh parsley
2 tablespoons fresh chives
3 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon soy sauce
4-6 fresh garlic cloves (I LOVE garlic, so I go for 6.)
2 teaspoons sesame seeds (toasted for more flavor)
1 teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon pepper
Combine all the ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend only until all ingredients are combined or it may get too thick. Taste and adjust flavors if necessary. If the mixture is too thick, add water a tablespoon at a time until it is your desired consistency.
